Counselling in Delhi and online

You do not need a diagnosis to talk to someone. Counselling is a confidential space to talk through what is weighing on you, understand it better and find a way forward.

Dr. Aditya VohraMBBS, MD (Psychiatry), Psychiatrist in New Delhi

  • Problems in a relationship or at home
  • Low confidence, self-doubt or feeling stuck
  • Feeling overwhelmed and not sure where to start
  • Wanting someone neutral to talk to

When to see a psychiatrist

You can book counselling whenever you feel you need to talk. If you are having thoughts of harming yourself, get help today.

How he can help

Sessions are an unhurried conversation at your pace. He helps you make sense of what is happening and agree on practical next steps. If something needs more attention, he explains the options, which can include therapy with a psychologist or care for depression or anxiety.

  1. 1

    Ask for a time

Fill in the short form below, or call or write. Say whether you would like to meet online or in person, and how soon.

  2. 2

    Confirm the slot

The clinic team confirms a time and tells you the fee before anything is fixed.

  3. 3

    First consultation

An unhurried conversation about what is happening, how long it has been going on and what you want to change. Bring any earlier prescriptions or reports.

  4. 4

    A plan you understand

Together we agree on next steps. That can combine medicine, therapy with a psychologist and regular follow-up, explained in plain words.

In person or online

Timings: Monday to Saturday, 9 am to 9 pm IST, by appointment. Closed on Sundays.

Questions

How is counselling with a psychiatrist different?

A psychiatrist is a medical doctor. Along with counselling, he can recognise conditions such as depression or anxiety and treat them when needed, so you do not have to start again with someone else.

Can I have counselling online?

Yes. Sessions can be in person in East Patel Nagar or online by video or voice call from anywhere in the world, in English or Hindi.
