Mood disorders care in Delhi and online

Mood disorders are conditions in which mood stays too low, too high, or swings between the two for long stretches, well beyond the ups and downs everyone has. Depression is the most common. Bipolar disorder brings periods of low mood and periods of unusually high energy, called mania or hypomania.

How he can help

He takes a careful history of your moods over time, often with a family member, because getting the diagnosis right shapes the treatment. A plan can include medicine to keep mood steady where needed, help with sleep and routine, therapy, and regular follow-up.

  1. 1

    Ask for a time

Fill in the short form below, or call or write. Say whether you would like to meet online or in person, and how soon.

  2. 2

    Confirm the slot

The clinic team confirms a time and tells you the fee before anything is fixed.

  3. 3

    First consultation

An unhurried conversation about what is happening, how long it has been going on and what you want to change. Bring any earlier prescriptions or reports.

  4. 4

    A plan you understand

Together we agree on next steps. That can combine medicine, therapy with a psychologist and regular follow-up, explained in plain words.

In person or online

Timings: Monday to Saturday, 9 am to 9 pm IST, by appointment. Closed on Sundays.

Questions

Is bipolar disorder the same as mood swings?

No. Everyone's mood changes. In bipolar disorder the highs and lows are more intense, last days or weeks, and change how a person sleeps, thinks and acts. A consultation helps tell the two apart.

Will I need medicine for a long time?

It depends on the diagnosis and on how things have gone before. He explains the options, why he suggests them and for how long, so you can decide together.
